A Queensland father has been stabbed repeatedly by machete-wielding males throughout a violent invasion of his residence.
Police stated Steve Ngabunga was inside his Logan residence when three males, described as Caucasian in look, broke in at about 7.30pm yesterday.
Ngabunga stated the three broke by way of the door barrier and two of them have been carrying machetes. Whereas being chased across the unit, he was stabbed a number of instances.
“I assumed I used to be going to die,” he informed 9News after being launched from the hospital right now.
When the boys broke into the home, Njabunga’s roommate jumped from the second-floor balcony and referred to as Zero.
Ngabunga tried to barricade himself in his bed room.
“I went to shut the foot however somebody opened the door and I stated: ‘No, I’ll die right here, there may be nowhere to run to’.”
By some means he made it to the opposite facet of the unit and the intruders determined it was time to go away.
Once they fled, Ngabunga grabbed his cell phone and referred to as the police as effectively. Paramedics arrived and stopped the bleeding from his leg earlier than taking him to hospital.
